How many historic buildings do we pass without noticing? This former Odeon Cinema on Crouch Street, #Colchester, shows that heritage isn’t only country houses, ancient churches or famous landmarks. Everyday places reveal as much about our towns as better-known monuments.

The former St John the Baptist Church in Aconbury, Herefordshire, is a Grade II* listed medieval church with 13th-century origins. Look closely at its 15th-century timber-framed porch and you’ll find wonderfully carved angels supporting the roof. #Heritage #BuiltHeritage #ChurchArchitecture
