This isn’t to say it was bad; it was a phenomenal event; but it also goes to show how the luck can hit. Nothing changes how the luck shows up; but if you keep going you’ll always find your target. Keep hunting yall 💛happy worlds

This was crazy fun; and as a group we got crazy unlucky! With an average of 14,310.5 encounters per shiny, makes this on average In the 82nd percentile of unlucky hunts; with an exact bnp of 0.82571. Basically this means 82% of hunts would find 4 shinies before 57242 encounters.

Not all art is drawn! Code and text copy is art too. GenAI for any purpose is stealing from creators who didn’t consent to their work in the training set I completely reject the idea that code generation is somehow different If you use an LLM for any part of something you built then you’ve used AI

HazeyDaisey @hazeydaisey.standingintheodds.com · 12/07/2026

And if the code cannot work without that vibe code then the site as a whole is functionally vibe coded; which is dangerous for a site connected to payment systems like square.

040

HazeyDaisey @hazeydaisey.standingintheodds.com · 12/07/2026

I do not think this is an attempt to cancel Ben, and I do not wish to add to any attempt to do that; but as a software engineer this is really disappointing to me. I think it would only make sense to remove any of the vibe coded aspects

110

HazeyDaisey @hazeydaisey.standingintheodds.com · 12/07/2026

Vibe code hurts a project severely, it can make the creation quicker but those aspects will never be your own; and the more you use it the less your project is truly yours, the less the code makes sense, and the more security issues are introduced.

130

HazeyDaisey @hazeydaisey.standingintheodds.com · 12/07/2026

I am really disappointed to hear about this. Coding is art, and the time it takes can be felt in the product. And code can also be stolen, and acting as if it can’t be is really disappointing. At the very least I think if Gen AI is used it should be very clearly stated
