It was a weird-ass day. I was a field adjuster so I worked from home, and I eventually I migrated to the living room because no one was calling anyway. I had a dentist appointment and went to that, and stopped for groceries just in case something happened and I couldn’t go out later.

I had heard something on the drive in about a small plane “clipping” one of the towers. I didn’t realize what was really happening until the radio on the drive home. The second plane hit while I had been in there.

The dude yelled for everyone to leave immediately as the building was being closed due to terrorist threats. I didn’t need to be ushered out, my ass was gone in seconds and I blew red lights on the way home while I was at it. The WI capitol is an easy target and I wanted to be far away fast!
