Listening to Xmal Deutschland tonight for the first time in my life and man I wish someone had showed me this when I was like seventeen. I've known the name for years but only just now got around to this. So cool!

Tried to make a "list" on here called bagagwaa with only me in it but apparently you can't add yourself to a list.

bagagwaa @bagagwaa.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Thinking about doing karaoke with friends soon, so I looked up the list at the place. They don't have "Babies" by Pulp (normal length, well known hit, upbeat) but they DO have "This is Hardcore" (6.5 minutes long, no chorus, creepy and weird). Might be evil and sing it anyway.

Customer came in, sat at the bar and thoroughly described how loneliness led them into AI psychosis. Ordered a couple cocktails, complimented every person working, asked us all our signs, then told me they’re “probably a bad person.” Bizarre experience. Very memorable. 10/10.

Chat Pile is headlining in massive venues. Every Mike Patton band seems to be reuniting to great fanfare. There has never been a better time for Buckethead to stop doing his weird jam band shit and bring the Deli Creeps to a world that is finally ready for whatever it is they do.

I’ve never enjoyed any metal comedians or any of that because “I understand the reference” isn’t the same as “that’s funny.” Old Immortal music videos will always be funnier than someone doing standup about death metal.

I don't know if this is an actual cult classic or if I just stumbled across it in like 2010 and became obsessed, but it SHOULD be well loved. Minimalist outsider electronic music, sometimes pop-adjacent maybe? Just lovely. johnbender-sv.bandcamp.com/album/i-dont...

One day I will be beautiful and have "good" opinions and maybe even a talent or two and everyone will adore me, but for now the best I can offer is being the court jester of the "former music journalist" world and sometimes share a link to a song or a picture of my dog.

Antropoceno draws on Brazilian musical traditions, mixing them with experimental rock and metal.

As of today I am the FOH manager of [restaurant] so I am going to spend the week spoiling myself to celebrate. Started with a visit to my favorite candy shop, dinner at a ramen joint I’d never visited, and an imperial stout from KCBC.

Cold tofu dish with chili garlic crisp, onions, and a glass of sake. The tofu has been mixed well so all the ingredients cooperate instead of clashing. The sake is clear, in a four ounce glass. My finger is in the bottom left corner of the image because I’m 39 years old and losing my sense of aesthetic coordination.

A fancy bowl of ramen with bone marrow broth. Unlike the tofu dish, the components have not been mixed yet because I wanted them to look nicer. Sadly, it is still not a very good picture.

Big pour of the Queen of Shadows imperial stout at KCBC with their menu (which looks like a comic or a zine) next to it. This is probably an 8-10 ounce glass of a ten percent ABV drink. I assumed my drink would be half the size. I am in trouble.
