had a very cool dream. it wasn't lucid, but I have this feeling that my recent goals influenced it I was roaming around a ton of setpieces from past dreams, narrating their architecture, functions, feelings evoked. I'm not sure if I had in fact been there before. just a metacognitive sense

The Zelda remake to me looks like it's going for, in part, Rococo and lush classic fantasy art a la the Brothers HIldebrandt, and the characters (at least the major ones) seem in large part to be trying for a porcelain figurine / doll-like look, uncanny proportions and all.

context for my ai thoughts I looked at what some ai devs were working on and gave it a fair shake. what if this were normal and not a novelty? I looked for upsides and did find some but I keep finding a terrible kitsch to these products. not that they shouldn't exist, just not like that. so hollow

fallacy: ai is just a little worse than the tech before, so what's the harm. driving a truck or suv is just a little worse than a sedan, so what's the harm. suddenly the streets are flooded with gas guzzlers, air quality is tanking fast, and a moment of discretion could have avoided this
