I prefer the Earthwise because it does not have ethyl alcohol added, which the drugstore versions generally do. For most applications those versions are fine - I just wouldn't use them on my face. There are many other alcohol-free/Canadian brands online in a variety of sizes and price points.

This book is from 2018 but I only heard about it/read it this month and absolutely loved it: THE LAST HOURS by Minette Walters. Set in Dorset during the summer of 1348. And, there is an excellent sequel called THE TURN OF MIDNIGHT that I finished last night!

IMHO, the curd in cottage cheese, even drained, is much too soft to withstand the power of hot gravy. This makes it an excellent protein addition to many dishes - it blends like a dream. Fresh curds, though, can hold up. For me it's very much a texture and mouth-feel issue, not solely a visual one.

Thinking about all the times I'd have died without antibiotics, including: a UTI so bad when I was three that I was placed in an ice bath to help bring down my fever; post-breast cancer surgery cellulitis requiring two weeks of an IV pump; and a pre-vaccine COVID hospitalization (many good drugs)
