LMAOOO. I’ve seen Scott show up in my dreams a few times as well for no discernible reason. One time he was filming a skit or something and I kept interrupting it like an asshole I’ve got no idea why.

The problem with using “good game design” to back up your personal taste is that it tends to rely on the idea that good game design is somehow singular, which is more wrong than I can fit on the screen.

The combat is definitely very jank and super outdated as well. Even still, it's fun enough for what it's trying to be, and I never got annoyed to the point where I wanted to give up. Game was about as long as it needed to be. I'm hoping the future Mana games improve things a lot though. We'll see.

Final Fantasy Adventure (Blind) This was fun, albeit extremely archaic. Annoyingly cryptic at times, especially in the latter half, and the low inventory annoyed me many times lol. Did not like the music either sorry to say. Way too repetitive and I felt like I was going crazy after a point.

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse (Blind) I've heard tons of praise for this game over the years, and yeah I'd say a lot of it is valid. Big step up from the previous games with better game flow without removing the puzzle element. The last dungeon was also a great platforming challenge. Great game.

Mega Man X5 (Blind) You know, I was very hesitant about this game but I actually enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. Far below 1, 2 and 4, but I liked it way more than 3 honestly. Big stinker for me is that bike section, and I'm eh on the time limit. Ignoring that, I had a lot of fun.

It became very hard to put it down when it started to finally click with me. So yes, I understand the love for Persona now. I am very interested in trying 5 in the future. Is P4 my fav RPG or game now? Well, no, but it doesn't have to be. It fills a specific niche and it does it tremendously well.

definitely an experience I'm not going to forget anytime soon. It's hard not to get attached to these goobers as well. It actually felt weirdly sad by the end because I wanna know what these guys get up to after all this ends. It took a bit for it to grab me, but when it does, oh boy did it.

I really like how both the social side, and the dungeon crawling side of the game intersect with one another. There's something really satisfying about getting good abilities from the former to massively help you in the latter. I already knew the story through anime, but experiencing it properly was

Persona 4 Golden (Blind) I get it now. I've been bugged to play Persona for a while now and I finally understand. There's something very special and unique about how this series handles it's mechanics, I've never played anything quite like it. Not big on the dungeons being randomly generated, but--

DuckTales 2017 Season 3 (Blind) Late to the party on this. It was nice to see Scrooge and co. again. Been ages since I've seen the other seasons, but I had a lot of fun with this one. Really wish this series continued, that finale was absolutely nuts. Fantastic reboot from start to finish for sure.

Lego Indy DS (Revisit) Meh. The game's fiine. Just going through story is okay if a bit uninspired. There are things better than console, but the level design is surprisingly bland the more you play. And as for 100%, just forget it. It got on my nerves and I gave up. Too many issues adding up. Beh.

I just gotta get this off my chest, but if you genuinely believe the OOT remake looks AI generated, Unreal slop, or "Nintendo hired this man" etc, then you need to get yourself educated. You have no idea what the hell you're talking about.

I think more people need to learn to just enjoy the media they enjoy, and not focus so much of their energy on things like this because ultimately it really doesn't matter.

The problem is that I'm not sure that's really what a lot of critics mean when they say, "Sonic had a rough transition into 3D." I always assumed they just meant starting from SA1, things were rough. Opinions are all over the place now, but back then, rough would not be an accurate term for it.
