Gary (He/him) @happyguydublin.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I’m not a huge #CaptainAmerica fan, but I read the first trade of the Chip Zdarsky run to get the origin story of the new Miracleman. I wasn’t expecting teenager who signs up after being at ground zero for 9/11 only to be broken by US military action in the Middle East and Latveria. It’s great 030

Gary (He/him) @happyguydublin.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I honestly couldn’t be less interested in DNX. The art probably has something to do with it but I won’t be reading this. I’m ready for a shakeup after. I’ll give Jed another chance after DNX to see a new lineup, and his Jean mini, but I am ready for this era to wrap up presumably with the issue 50s. 000

Gary (He/him) @happyguydublin.bsky.social · 05/09/2026Donna is my all time favourite DC character, and one thing that has always been consistent about her character is that she likes to fuck. She never doesn’t have a man. Having a doomed teenaged fling with Garth when both sixteen totally worked for me 😂 120
Gary (He/him) @happyguydublin.bsky.social · 03/09/2026I like Crystal showing up to cause chaos for him now and again 030
Gary (He/him) @happyguydublin.bsky.social · 29/08/2026I never gave a damn about her but I binged all of seven trades of her solo run in two weeks, and can’t stop recommending it. Seminal work. 010

Gary (He/him) @happyguydublin.bsky.social · 06/08/2026I wish they had though to allow younger beast settle into a comfy retcon, like they finally achieved with Bishop where we have forgotten he wiped out timelines to kill a baby 010
Gary (He/him) @happyguydublin.bsky.social · 06/08/2026It’s been consistently fine but agreed. The art looks awful too Honestly they should have left the White Beast dead. 100
Gary (He/him) @happyguydublin.bsky.social · 01/08/2026Oof. I have defended this run but the latest Gail Simone Uncanny X-Men trade was a slog. That Monsters/Rawhide Kid story just did not work and was too long. It made me wonder if I was done with the book but thankfully the vol. ended with a great annual that will make me buy vol 5 whenever it is out 000
Gary (He/him) @happyguydublin.bsky.social · 30/07/2026Very impressed by the Superman Annual. Setting up a new Legion of Superheroes who don’t even know they are being hunted by someone who has captured all the other Legions we have loved who will no doubt return at some point. So it’s a new take but also tied to the past @joshuawilliamson.bsky.social 040
Gary (He/him) @happyguydublin.bsky.social · 23/07/2026@gregrucka.com Hiya. Not asking for spoilers for the crossover, but have Kate and Poison Ivy ever met on panel? They are two major Gotham characters, both important LGBTQ+ figures in modern DC, who seem to have almost completely missed each other as far as I can recall? 100
Gary (He/him) @happyguydublin.bsky.social · 13/07/2026@garbagedracula.bsky.social I’d love to see Leah Williams tackle a Punchline ongoing - Let her really get stuck into the character’s head… 000
