Nancy 10/1/26 … “Sluggo’s Terrible Hat” Part 4

Nancy vents to Aunt Fritzi, telling her she may have to break up with Sluggo because of his new hat. Fritzi thinks she’s being dramatic, until she sees the hat….

There’s also this piece from early 2025 but unfortunately the full piece has been redacted by the government and will never see the light of day. SAD! We will never know the context!

Tbh I think this is most likely an expansion on sonic & friends since they’ve said themselves that it’s seen great success and is also targeted specifically at that demographic

im not saying characterisation isnt important but sonic fans talk about it in a weird way. its also just kind of funny when they're defending a game/comic they like and lead with "it has characterisation" and not the writing as a whole

110

HPX @handsplasticx.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

no but seriously this is what makes any sonic writing discussion insufferable now, even the games themselves people would rather talk about "characterisation" (copying twitter talking points) than the gameplay itself

Undertale monsters did not initially turn to dust upon being slain, but would instead be sent to an optional trophy room. This feature was short lived, as playtesters spent hours obsessively examining their "fine specimens".

It’s not just random out-of-game twitter confirmations btw, mother wisp (exclusive to colours ds) shows up in team sonic racing and there are lines in crossworlds referencing ds specific story details (knuckles referencing going to the amusement park with rouge, silver referencing going with blaze)

HPX @handsplasticx.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

It’s kind of funny that if you want to play sonic games in the definitive canon order, you have to play colours ds instead of colours Wii since it’s been confirmed that ds is the canon version multiple times (which is good bc ds is the better version 🤭)
