That’s what I’m doing for now- the only reason I have hope for future treatment is it’s become a much bigger issue after COVID & some countries will actually fund research. But that’s a long way off

The court is basically saying that knowledge of the victim being trans is potentially exculpatory for a self defense legal claim. This is explicitly greenlighting the panic defense and saying a victims trans status might excuse a murder.
