I boiled some old doorknobs in water and baking soda. After a lot of scrubbing and a little polish, I'm thrilled to find they're antique bronze! I hope to eventually pry off those door plates and try the same trick to get off all that old paint. 🤞 #HomeRenovation

A client recently commissioned me to repaint her Dialga to the colors for the Primal Dialga evolution Pokemon. I didn't realize it was one of the extra large 10" Funko POP!s until a massive box arrived in the mail. 😆😳 Anyway, this took forever, but I like the orange a lot.

Y'know, I promised Bluesky occasional photos of my rescue beagles, yet I have not posted photos of them. Delighted to introduce Carson & Lily! They are both retired laboratory beagles and the sweetest, cuddliest monsters ever. Carson is named after the Downton Abbey butler, and Lily for the flower.

Lily, a tricolor female beagle. Named for the flower as well as Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, also know as The Lily of the Mohawks. We adopted Lily on July 14th, which is Saint Kateri's Feast Day in the United States. The Japanese lilies (Lilium speciosum) that grow in our garden were also in full bloom when we brought her home.

The opening lines of the General Prologue to Geoffrey Chaucer's "The Canterbury Tales" in the original Middle English. It reads:

Customized Funko POP Vinyl Figurine of Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid) in his Harlequin stage persona costume from "Interview with the Vampire." The character has the standard Funko POP look of a large head with button eyes and a small body. The hair is blond and the eyes are an eerie blue to evoke Lestat's vampire nature. The figurine is designed to appear to be wearing white face paint and rouge with a fake birthmark on the left cheek. The costume is dark blue with triangle accents along the front in dark red, mustard yellow, and navy blue, outlined in cream. It is an 18th Century style suit.
