Shit my next door neighbor was missing for weeks and my husband and I truly believed that he might be laying dead inside his house and we still didn't call for a wellness check. Those checks are inherently risky and harmful for anyone you call them on.

Sometimes, when someone dies, what helps me is thinking about how wonderful it is that they were even alive in the first place. Dolly was the closest you could get to an American saint. We all loved her.
