I admit that I struggle with the need for ways to handle people who commit harm that acknowledge that they are going to continue participating in society in some way with the sheer reality that it is extremely easy not to commit sexual assault. One of the easiest crimes to avoid, actually.

On it's face this is a small discourse about one celebrity's sexual behavior, but the truth is, the widespread shaming of her is representative of a larger trend of homonormative slut shaming & queer puritainism on the rise. Slut shaming is what creates the environment for victim blaming.

Yud is an I Fuckin Love Science-type guy, a guy who fetishizes the appearance of science without any respect for the humility of science. He views LLMs as a divine force, rather than a piece of human-made software, and this is influenced by his love of science fiction more than anything rational.

Yud knows nothing about how computers or science works. He is a 'rationalist' in the sense that he believes you should use the facade of logic to humiliate people into submitting (see HPatMoR), but he fundamentally doesn't understand basic science, especially computer science.
