We had a great weekend of events for London Cycling Campaign, with the breakfast in Clissold Park (we expect this will become a regular fixture!) and several rides (including a feeder to @kidicalmasslond.bsky.social). Thanks to everyone who came out!

We're also holding a breakfast event this Saturday from 10-12 in Clissold Park. It's sort of a spin-off from the one we always do in London Fields! Would be lovely if you came along for a free bite to eat / drink and a chat!

If you live near or visit London Fields this may be of interest to you: consultation.hackney.gov.uk/housing-serv... A child was hit and injured here a few years ago. While we understand the desire to improve safety, this will in effect bar users of adapted cycles / mobility scooters / cargo bikes.

Here's Hackney's version of @instachaaz's desire line meme. Attempts to prevent the desire line with foliage and a big log has only meant that new desire lines are being created. It's obviously a useful route for🚶& 🚲. Can we formalise it? @hackneycouncil.bsky.social @sarahwoodberrydown.bsky.social
