PSA: Bluesky's new auto-tagging moderation stuff is a disaster. Disable it. Go into Settings on the Bluesky site and enable adult content and set everything to Warn at most, which makes posts opt-in. Hide just vanishes posts. Then go into Advanced/Bluesky Mod Service and do the same on everything.

Someone patched GIMP to look and feel exactly like Adobe Photoshop. Same keyboard shortcuts. Same tool layout. Same everything. It's called PhotoGIMP and it's free.

Not getting the engagement you want on Bluesky? Engage w/others how you'd like others to engage w/you. Hashtags will help your post get discovered by relevant feeds. Don't over-do it (this is not IG). Use alt text in images. Not only helps those who need but helps w/discovery. 🧵👇🏼#BlueSkyTips

Cartoon-style illustration featuring three stick figure characters in green, purple, and yellow. The characters are shown in various interactions with speech bubbles above them. Initially, all three characters are just broadcasting messages with megaphones but receive no response. The puple and yellow characters start interacting with each other while the green character just gets mad. The green character eventually says, "Bah, I give up. Not getting any engagement here," and walks away. The remaining purple and yellow characters continue to interact. The illustration conveys a narrative about the green character's frustration with lack of engagement. @debbieohi.com is noted at the bottom.
