Well done. I can both points as well; an equal and opposite reaction would ideally somehow not involve violence, but aside from harsh language or an instantaneous education piece, I don’t know what that would entail. Ideally those “men” wouldn’t attack women in the first place.

A kick in the bollocks always works! Sucks that you were harassed, but good that you dished out appropriate force to disincentivise them. The worrying question has always been: why do some men/boys think/do such things? The insidious rise of the “Manopshere” and incel misogyny is beyond awful.

True. Everything is part of a damn subscription these days. Some of them even have the audacity to charge *even more* just to remove the ads they retrospectively add in, in case they didn’t make enough money. That’s why I hate commercial TV. Just the BBC and Netflix could be enough.

In all the grandiose discussion about colonising Mars, I don't see much about how the soil is poisonous to us. This was only discovered in 2008. It contains perchlorates, which are environmental toxins here on Earth. Any human contact with Mars dust? Super-bad news in the long run. 1/

For the 1st time, an extrasolar planet has left a radio fingerprint of its own, distinct from its star’s. 🔭 That fingerprint also tells us how strong its magnetic field is.⚛️ The planet is called β Pictoris b.🧪 Illustration Credit: ESO/L. Calçada/N. Risinger (skysurvey.org) #planetsci #astronomy
Artist’s impression (not a photograph) of the young giant planet β Pictoris b. A large, banded gas world fills the foreground, lit in warm orange-reddish and brown, with a bright young star farther back against a starry sky.

Thanks for your insights. I assume most people feel the same, so the anxiety seems all the sillier - that's probably the best revelation. Practice, practice, practice in working the problem is essentially what CBT advocates extol anyway.
