Also, this isn’t just new grads. I’ve worked as a software engineer for over 20 years, spoke at a conference, worked for companies you’ve absolutely heard of and wrote three books about it. But in 2025, it took me over a year to get a new job. Easily 95% of my resumes went completely unanswered.
