I find it interesting how relevant twitter was for us in the R* community, I always had a couple tabs open to keep up with stuff, now I even forget to check it. It was better when everyone tried to develop their own thing instead of having 30 accounts all clinging to the same cycle of shit content.

Tomorrow, GTA San Andreas turns 20 years old. Today, I’m honored to publish the biggest update of SilentPatch for the classic GTA trilogy to date, with the full source code now available on GitHub under the MIT license! All 3 games got dozens of new fixes! cookieplmonster.github.io/2024/10/25/s...

This image is styled like an old computer screen, with a retro browser interface at the top displaying a URL: https://github.com/CookiePLMonster/SilentPatch. Below the browser bar, the screen is filled with green, pixelated text resembling vintage graphics. The words "SilentPatch" are prominently displayed in the center, with "New Update + Open Source Release" written in smaller blue text underneath. At the bottom, the words "==OUT NOW==" are shown in a large, peach-colored font, framed by a rectangular border of green pixel-art graphics.

for fellow people who used linkedin ~ seems like they've opted everyone into Generative AI scraping lmaoooosob to turn it off, go to Settings > Data Privacy > Data for Generative AI Improvement > Toggle Off

A screenshot of a portion of the LinkedIn Settings page. On the left column, the tab "Data privacy" is in a red box (added by Jenny in Paint).

On the right, "Data for Generative AI Improvement" is turned on. Around "Data for Generative AI Improvement" is a red box and red arrow pointing to that section, and a doodled angry face and "?!" (added by Jenny in paint).

Around the on/off toggle, which is turned "Off" is a doodled red box and arrows (added by Jenny in Paint), highlighting the place to opt out/remove consent for use.
