Watching Earl Holliman's fantastic performance on #thetwilightzone. Thanks to Earl's performance of Mike Ferris, we got to meet Anthony Fremont, Markie Foley, Martin Sloan, Talky Tina and many other unforgettable characters. #thankyou #rip

Hit a milestone today in the new WIP: 13000 words! When I finish this book, I'm going back to revise my previous one that needed to rest a while. (I'm also querying a different one!) If you like space opera, check out my first trad-published on Amazon: www.amazon.com/Rushs-Edge-G...

Y'all, discoverability is harder than ever. With Twitter all but gone and publishing being --in a mood-- your favorite authors are floundering. We don't know how to reach our fans or find new readers. Telling someone about a book you love is a really big deal. That's the #1 reason people buy books!

There is no power on earth for authors like word of mouth. Especially with the death of Twitter, so many of us have lost huge chunks of our reach. So please, if you love a book, tell your friends and talk it up on your social media. No voice is too small, every single word counts. And thank you!

Not in the habit of seeing things as symbols, but maybe this rainbow is a sign that something good is going to happen soon with the book I'm querying or the one I'm currently writing. I can dream anyway. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Just bought The Black Lord by Colin Hinckley from Tenebrous Press. It's next up after my current sf read. Can't wait to dive in! The summary made it sound like it's right up my alley.

I think of this as: None of us love a story for the things it doesn’t do wrong. We love it for the things it does do right.

Reese is rad and writes rad books. He's also the only SFF writer to correctly refer to submarines as "boats" and not "ships." I'm reading his latest right now and it's great.

Some appreciation for the hand-painted backgrounds of Batman: The Animated Series (1992). Some would be done on black paper to help achieve the noir style.
A dark city skyline, lit from below. A winding fire escape climbs the side of a monolithic building, lit by the moon.A dark and foreboding asylum cell, moonlight filters through the steel bars. A road winds up to Arkham Asylum atop a snow hill.
