Ronald Reagan created Rap Music. As Gov of CA he fired all the music teachers. The kids just played scratchy records and shouted. Got good at it tho.

Install advanced nuclear at all the load centers in California.Reduce the grid load.Stop the wildfires. Cheaper Reliable energy. Infinite water from the Pacific. Run the Colorado river backwards to landlocked states. 5% of our electricity is pumping water uphill to LA– wrong direction.

Dems let ollie North off the hook when they caught Reagan and him using Iran to steal the election from President Carter. They let him keep his slushfund and he became the biggest "fundraiser" for the Republican party.

Developed countries realize that the energy market needs to be fair. So only one institution in charge of the grid.. it's the marketplace! America has 2000 grid institutions all of which have a conflict of interest. It can't possibly work. Pipelines and grids are good 4 money laundering

Yes, insider trading is part of why it works. Smart people trading is the other part. How you going to get insiders and smart people to talk to you honestly? Pay them. It's called a prediction market.

Since 1975 NRC has kept oil coal and gas in business, Killing 8 million people per year with air pollution. Damaging our climate. Because they made nuclear slow and expensive by anti-science LNT ALERA.

It's silly to worry about getting reactors built on time. Even the new cathedral in Barcelona is taking a long time. But what has that got to do with building churches,? We need a nuclear reactor factory. In 2026 scaling up means automated manufacturing. Not perfect giant cathedrals

True on a nice day. But the grid is designed for a horrible day. Just before a blackout, you're going to see the power factor is horrible. If you prevent it from being horrible you avoid the blackout.

We can make nuclear energy 10x cheaper than coal... Hard not to... but 52 years of stalemate at the horrifying NRC made us forget that. JFK's team could do it. We can do better today. Solar got 100x cheaper in 40 years. Nuclear can instantly match it as today's tech is incorporated.

Apparent.com uses digital parts to manage HV AC to stabilize distribution grid. Existing transformers serve twice as many customers if the reactive power is supplied by local ApparentEnergy systems, instead of off the grid.

If Apparent.com tech for grid impedance matching were deployed, that's another win equal to battery storage. It would save California ratepayers 1 billion per month to have the grid run with near-perfect power factor. Using software on power supplies, solar, batteries.

Even better for new generation nuclear energy systems such as Hot Dry Manufactured reactors. (HDM). Running at 600C. Inherently safe without water touching fuel. And coming off an automated assembly operation such as a shipyard or heavy diesel factory. 10x cheaper than coal for clean energy

We can and will make electricity a lot cheaper. Solar got 100x cheaper in 40 years, and Nuclear energy hasn't changed due to outrageously regulatory stalemate. But if nuclear is built with today's technology it will get 11 and 100 times cheaper. Go to grandpa's resistive electric heater!

One thing you forgot to calculate-- how much could we subsidize consumers higher bills with the money not wasted on pipe upgrades? The utilities get to collect revenue today and profit on it based on a far-future use case. The trade unions get lots of work.

Yes, nuclear energy is bonehead simple. Easier to control a reactor than a diesel engine on one of those locomotives. You are saying that because somewhere theres a boondoggle, therefore all govts are corrrupt and no one should do anything? Smart.

So you are saying that American's can never be as smart as S. Koreans who can build nuclear energy as cheap as we can build natural gas (over time). As an American I resent being called stupider than a Korean. We can do it. Just gotta get anti-science anti-nukes zealots out of the NRC and DOE.

Putin and Trump are funded by Big Oil. Xi doesn't care about protecting the oil cartel. American's shouldn't either. We can go nuclear energy, and stop using oil coal and gas withing 5 years... if we felt serious about it. France moved that fast in 1980s prior to automated manufacturing!

Those plants were built for a different climate, and it's a simple matter to upgrade them to make 100x more water than they consume. Nuclear can desalinate very cheaply and can purify and recycle waste water. Air cooling "wastes" 15% of a power plants energy so you don't NEED any water at all.

Nuclear energy is renewable energy. The fuel can be absorbed out of seawater, makeing the ocean less radioactive. But when you remove it comes back from geothermal springs. So Uranium is renewable just like the wind and the waves.. Take it, and it comes back. But it's 1 million times cheaper.
000
grumpystiltskin.bsky.social @grumpystiltskin.bsky.social · 26/05/2026
False. No one owns the Uranium. 200 million tonnes of it are dissolved in the ocean and plastic polymer fishing nets can efficiently absorb it, thanks to Japanese research. And if someone did manage to corner the market on OCEAN, there's enough Thorium in your backyard to run your life forever.

grumpystiltskin.bsky.social @grumpystiltskin.bsky.social · 26/05/2026
Renewable energy is ok for homes but no one can use it for any kind of 24x7 industry. Not even desalinization, which is a storable product you can make any time of the day. But you need to utilize your manuf assets more than 8 hours a day.

The Race to Quadruple US Nuclear Generation Is Underway
Federal policy continuity, bipartisan legislation, and tech-sector demand are accelerating efforts to expand US nuclear generation capacity by mid-century.

I did not consent to have radioactive waste in my lungs from Coal burning. Air pollution has a 1:1000th chance of killing you this year. It kills 8 million people per year. Nuclear doesn't make ANY dangerous pollution. Killed no one for a decade. Coal releases 10,000x more radiation than nuclear

That's silly. You don't need to enrich U AT ALL for energy. Build a CANDU. USA, Russia, or China, or Ubeckistan would sell them all the LEU power plant fuel they want. Because Israel secretly made weapons with SA. BTW are we supposed to deal w states that proliferate nuke weapons?

Not that no human being or fruit fly has been harmed from nuclear waste from commercial power so far. And note that the industry is required to pay up front for all the costs. Deep Isolation is one company that can store all the waste for cheaper than the already existing fund. Not act of cong need

Actually All of America's nuclear energy was approved by the Atomic Energy Commission. The NRC was designed by the oil cartel to never approve anything, and in it's 52 year history, it stalemated perfectly . No new safer or cheaper tech has been allowed. Too bad DOGE din't actually care about waste

Needs to let nuclear energy be deployed rapidly at a much cheaper cost. Startup companies are ready to do this. make hydrocarbon fuels such as gasoline and kerosene with nuclear energy plus co2 carbon in a net zero fashion. There's no reason to use fossis in order to drive or airplanes.
