I’m so done with living with slobs. They’ve known a week they had to tidy up and clean the place for an architect coming to measure up. I come in today to find dirty clothes in multiple bags in the kitchen, noones wiped the cupboards or worktops or swept the floor. I’ll have to do it before work :(

Police in Bristol said they asked organisers of a far-right protest in city centre to move it or reschedule, because the big Shine Night Walk big cancer charity 10K fundraising walk of 2,000 people - mainly women - was planned for Friday night. Police confirmed the group refused, so walk postponed.

So, happy 363rd anniversary to this entry from the Diary of Samuel Pepys, who had gone to bed the three previous nights “in some pain”, “in great pain”, and “beginning to be troubled with wind as I used to be”

I did keep my bed; and my pain continued on me mightily, that I keeped within all day in great pain, and could break no wind nor have any stool after my physic had done working. So in the evening I took coach and to Mr Hollyards, but he was not at home; and so home again. And whether the coach did me good or no I know not, but having a good fire in my chamber, I begun to break six or seven small and great farts; and so to bed and lay in good ease all night, and pissed pretty well in the morning, but no more wind came as it used to do plentifully, after it once begun, nor any inclination to stool.

If I’m honest it was the one good thing she did for me. I was allergic and forced to sit and drink warm milk despite it making me ill so when she stopped free milk I was freed. As for the rest she’s a cunt

Disabled people don’t mind providing evidence of disability or need l, but the forensic examination nimbus puts disabled people through to prove their access needs is unacceptable.

The burden of proof is on the disabled person to prove they’re disabled enough & if the paperwork doesn’t reflect their needs, you get no help. It’s a terrible and dehumanising system and yet another way to make disabled people feel like scroungers. It’s truly awful & companies need to ditch them

Nimbus base their decisions on PIP points that we know are notoriously unreliable. They refuse essential Companions, toilet access, seats at festivals etc because their computer says no. Disabled people Have to pay for this additional assessment just to participate in social events like theatre/gigs

Seeing lots of disabled people complain about a theatre company pairing up with Nimbus for the access pass. In theory it should be a good thing but the reality is the complete opposite. Strangers at Nimbus decide what adjustments disabled people can get not what they need.
