Have any of these people ever had a fresh idea? Even what’s considered revolutionary is cribbed from popular sci-fi from the 80s & 90s. Even the sci-fi is rehashed. How many times do we need to be warned about autonomous robots and robot dogs? No, you can’t grow potatoes on mars to survive.

Paris isn’t exactly a cooling oasis. It’s an urban heat island where there were 8000 excess deaths due to heat this year. Local plants are evolving into not making flowers anymore. They’ve had to come up with massive plans to add green spaces to roof tops & walls. I’m sorry, but this is ridiculous.

To me it felt like picking up a little person. A 10 year old doesn’t want to be treated like a freaking giant baby from the Jerry Springer show in front of the whole world. It shows how detached he is from humanity. He had no sense about it. His instincts were completely off.

Why would anyone pick up a 10 year old? That’s weird. He’s not a baby. The kid is not small. He’s 10! He can walk , talk, feed himself, he should even be able to read, do math and make sandwiches. Don’t pick up 10 year olds. It’s weird.

Religion and porn are. Always the earliest adopters of new communication methods. At the same time it may elevate cranks, it’s elevating the voices of those who’ve been denied communication with each other and the outside world. It’s granting access to material kept hidden or suppressed.

It's "astoundingly easy" for unqualified & unvetted people to start up a private school & then to get public money from state voucher programs. But even though the private schools get public money, they aren't publicly accountable. Oversight is almost non-existent. This is bad for kids.

There are multiple versions of the circle prank game. One found in places like restaurant kitchens and involves violence to reinforce masculine gender norms. It differs based on where you hold the symbol. I don’t know if it still happens, but in the 2010s it wasn’t unusual.
