Groughgruff @groughgruff.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Young GH move around this time of year. As well as size (female) you can tell them by tear drop markings on their chest. 110
Groughgruff @groughgruff.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Yes, I’d say SH unless someone more knowledgeable thinks otherwise. Every GH I’ve seen is like seeing an Eagle compared to a Buzzard. You just know what it is. 210
Groughgruff @groughgruff.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Are you sure they were SH? Difficult to tell but the second photo makes it look as big as the Raven (assuming the top bird is a Raven). Last photo looks like a chunky bird but if those are white feathers on the back, it is a SH. As far as I know, only SH can have white scapular feathers. 100
Groughgruff @groughgruff.bsky.social · 12/09/2026They keep on coming through my garden this morning. Seems to be a big movement today. 001

Groughgruff @groughgruff.bsky.social · 22/05/2026The same happened to me yesterday in the Pied Fly wood behind Eric’s bench. Two spaniels went for joggers on the railway and then went for me. Owner laughed. Happens often when I’m running. Seems to be a complete lack of responsibility since Covid. 120
