Have you ever been caught in a speed trap with your car? Well, something similar happened to molecules in our lab… Donato could determine the speed of single molecules on Ag(111) and how they are affected by atomic defects in the surface. Have a look on onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/...

How does water behave at the interface of oil droplets? Today’s journal club is; www.nature.com/articles/s41... They showed developing Raman-MCR spectroscopy to isolate interfacial water signals in emulsions. Our colleagues compared this article in terms of different aspects.
