This is a double must buy omnibus week with Batwoman and Ram V’s Detective Comics both dropping. Do I already own all of this detective run in singles and again in tpbs? Yep. Am I buying it again? Of course.

Swipe right for lineart only. Color is a very important part of my art in comics and I worked closely with @kjdiaz.bsky.social to make it as best as it could be for each and every page of AMOM. Get your copy now of issue #2, now in stores! @dstlry.bsky.social

Extremely impressed with the visual storytelling in AMoM, especially in regards to page layout/design, gutter choices, and color. It’s an incredible book!

His wolvy is a tiny hairy little badger man, just as god intended. Had a kid come in asking for The Maxx recently and it made me smile

It’s always a good day when you’re going through new acquisitions and find some rad art. Growing up I didn’t care for Keith’s style but I find myself drawn to the uniqueness now.

This will certainly be a Final Boss Book Club pick the instant it’s collected.

A Mischief of Magpies 2 is my favorite comic of the week. Spurrier and Bergara have never made a bad book but this might be their best. Credit to DSTLRY, this book thrives on their weird format size. Some truly inspired sequential storytelling through page design. Dark and sad and affecting.

Thor rules! I can’t wait to reread this run beginning to end when it’s all said and done. Probably my favorite Marvel book rn. Solid mythology tinged adventure arc, and probably a decent jumping on point

Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou is a wonderful addition to the team, and the extensive back matter and interviews add even more to this issue making it a steal at 4.99. If you’ve never read TTB, you’ll have no trouble jumping in here.

Things you can’t get from a digital advance: The paper rules. What more can I say? I’ve been singing the praises of TTB since volume one dropped, so believe me when I say this is Chris and Jacob operating at their best, immersing the reader in a moment and place and setting the board to explode.

The last day to have your comic shop preorder the collected edition of IS TED OK? is Monday September 7. I put everything I had into this book. It's the best comic I've ever made and I'd be thrilled as hell if you picked it up. @madcavestudios.com

The cover to IS TED OK? trade paperback. Ted, eyes rolled back into his head, is on fire.
