Update for those who've been helping me support getting my kids safe & helping my youngest attend school. She just had 1st wk of tests this semester (2yr Assoc for Sonography). Did really well! Anyone w/AP kids will remember the powerhouses of the cell. 2 kids, should have saved oldest's projects.

I dug them out for something else, but figured I'd share. In another life I made jewelry as a hobby. I've since given away most of my stuff, but I saved one pair of earrings that I made and still love. It's just a little reminder that at one point, I lived.

What a beautiful baby! I'm going to try to feed her up in my room just to see if she's just over her siblings' shit (we have 7 cats). She's still really active and doesn't seem sick, so going to try this first. She's always been thin, but never much under 9lbs. So of course I'm worried to death.

I love that the last piece of for me jewelry, at least until I'm working again, is not only from @peculiarityshop.bsky.social it's an aquamarine & fits as though made for my hand. Almost as perfect as angry baby kitten! I'm madly in love with it. (The dragonfly broach got me teared up, thank you)

My dad passed away before BP2 came out. The MCU was our thing together & BP2 about destroyed me to watch without him. I wrote about it. Hopefully Black Panther 3 will bring that joy back.

my head so maybe I can move on

I saw Black Panther; Wakanda Forever
ast night and it broke me

I unexpectedly lost my dad last
September. We lived about 6 hours
away from each other, but movies
were our thing. Marvel especially
but also Star Wars, LOTR, anything
sci-fi or fantasy really. When I'd visit
we do movie nights to catch him up
on whatever Marvel movie he'd miss
We'd talk for hours after we both had
seen a movie. I always went to the
Thursday night premiere of all the
MCU and he'd call me Friday to get my
non-spoiler thoughts.

Spiderman No Wav Home was the
first Marvel movie that watched
without him. It was hard. I cried the
whole way

home. But frsts are alwavs hard and 1
figured that would be the worst of it
Last niqht I saw Black Panther and 1
cried through the whole movie. It hit
so hard. Everything about it was so
beautifully painful. In some ways I
related to it more than anything else
I've seen. I wasn't prepared. I thought
was, but was wrong.

Black Panther- Wakanda Forever may
be the best movie the MCU has done
to date. And I'm not sure I can ever
watch it again.

I never understood the bird thing until we hung up hummingbird feeders and hanging moss bird houses. Now I have multiple generations of Cardinals & Wrens that nest here. I get to see baby birds & even named the hummingbirds & birds. I totally get it now. It's just peaceful.

Baby bird is unamused that dinner delivery is taking so long. Dad is totally not getting tipped.

I'm not supposed to eat any of it, but I love my lil back deck #garden. We have 2 butternut squash growing, 2 cucumbers (4 total), a 1/2doz tomatoes, & a few handfuls of blueberries. Strawberries are struggling this year, only have had 2/3. The rain & heat are xtra rough #GardenSky #BloomScrolling

I think tonight requires a gummy, finally watching The Vampire Lestat, and organizing beads. These are the easy ones, they haven't been open.
