I'm taking an illustration course through UCSD and I just finished my first assignment! We had to draw squiggles all over the page, then turn them into recognizable objects. Pretty fun!

Before my divorce, we lived near a big field where my kids liked to go play. On the far end, a homeless man set up his solitary camp behind some bushes so it was out of sight from the road. He had some mental health issues, which had landed him in jail a couple times, but he mostly kept to himself

Last November, I ordered a box of Christmas teas. A week or so later, USPS notified me that my package had arrived! But when I went to open the parcel mailbox, it was already open and empty. 😟 Yesterday 18yr old checked the mail and found a parcel key... Merry Christmas to me! 🤣

Most of the time, I don't draw with a goal in mind. I start with empty intent, & see what develops. But sometimes, I draw with a purpose. Here's an example: a picture of my parents' dog drawn, which I drew for my mom's birthday. Do I draw such things on commission? Yes I do! You just have to ask!
