I'm teaching Law of Reflection in Conceptual #Physics & realized I don't have a good understanding of *why* light follows the law. That is, I can explain why θi=θr for a basketball bounce pass w/ Newtonian mech, but I don't have an equivalent explanation for light. Anyone have a good one to share?

Apologies if your feed has been clogged by me recently. I used a tool to import all of my old tweets, properly dated retroactively. Yesterday BlueSky removed the retroactive dating feature and changed every post to the date I imported them... so now it looks like I made ~2k posts in one day.

In #Astronomy class we used the Big Dipper to find Polaris and reckon the latitude of Arendelle in Frozen II. You can kinda-sorta see the Big Dipper during "Into the Unknown." Turns out the latitude is 90°N; North Pole! Fun to practice a real-life task in a fictional context. #iteachastro #edusky
