These are wonderful portraits, but the fact that Itsuro Naraki was friendly with Frank & influenced by his work doesn't mean his work is reminiscent of Frank. These are formal street portraits, which is far from what Frank did. 'Nomads' is lovely book, though. Better than his 'Dancers' in my view.

riding a bike for errands is such a different type of experiencing the world. I cant tell you how many times Ive just talked to a stranger at a place because we were both bike riders. Cars just dont create that same sense of community. That ton of iron separates you from humanity.
