Here’s the thing, AI lacks things that humans have. Like what about trust. How can you ever be sure you could trust an AI agent? People behave in a way that you generally know who you can trust and who you can’t. They have feelings and morals and a sense of character. How can I trust a robot?

We should all have a voice in this. We should be able to vote and choose how we want things to be. Oh yeah, elections. Maybe we need a bunch of ballot referendums. No AI for art or writing. No AI for jobs people enjoy. Only use it to create more happiness. However that looks. Pay us more, to start!

I think you’re also right- there are many jobs that robots can’t do. I think (I am human) that they’re vastly overestimating the capabilities. Either way their lack of insight and foresight is astounding. It could be a giant bubble, ex if there’s not enough energy in the world to support AI robots.
