Remember when we had a NORMAL president who wasn't an ill-mannered, lazy, unintelligent child rapist? Damn, I miss that.

This is a book written by a wonderful person about her refugee parents who came to the UK due to WWII. It is a lesson in how refugees can end up contributing to UK society and bring love and friendship along the way despite the horrors they endured lnkd.in/p/eXgdRYxM

It's even easier. Cofnas & all other scientific racists fail to meet basic academic standards. They don't read or engage with evidence & their interpretation of data is demonstrably specious. Instead of doing good scholarly work, they hide behind "controversy". He has no business at a university.

3/ Research as been funded in an open and equitable manner with peer review sitting at the centre of the process. This has changed and will to the detriment of us all. As illustrated in this essay history tells us it's a long way back from here!

2/ As a scientist siting outside the USA it would be easy take a "serves you blood right" stance for allowing Trump into the White House. But that is a sentiment that must be voided. The USA has led scientific research for decades bringing enormous benefit to mankind.

This is a classic example of following what local voters want rather than taking a political stance and arguing the positive reasons for it. In essence Nandy et al want to align with Reform's right wing view just to secure votes. FFS have the bottle to stand up for what most open minded voters want!
