Who said demanding climate action couldn’t be a party? 60,000 in Brussels today! We want renewables to be a priority, not a backup plan. We want polluters to pay and our health to be protected. We want a future where destroying nature is considered a crime.

Separate cycle tracks alongside rural main roads give the elderly or people with mobility issues far more freedom. Someone on a mobility scooter can travel safely from town to town, without having to rely on a car or public transport. This is what accessible transport infrastructure looks like.

Want To Make Money? Build A Business On A Bike Lane
Research from New York City notes that newly installed protected bike lanes do more than keep bikers safe--they raise the income of the stores they are in front of.

www.rte.ie/news/2026/09.... We're here not because we have to - but because policymakers, under the thumb of vested fossil fuel industries - have refused to act. We're sacrificing the future of our species for short-term gain, profit and greed. What a price. Phase out fossil fuels NOW

Science has named the seemingly unstoppable growth of renewable energy worldwide as the 2025 Breakthrough of the Year. Learn more about this year's #BOTY and other big advances in science: scim.ag/493Tpgx
Qianjiadong Reservoir in southern Hunan, China, produces a double harvest: solar energy and yellow carp. The solar farm produces up to 80 megawatts of power while the fish forage beneath the panels. With a massive scale-up of solar and wind at home and cheap exports of the technology, China is driving a worldwide surge of renewable energy—Science’s 2025 Breakthrough of the Year.

“It's amazing how pollution has dropped in #Paris in 15 years. @annehidalgo.bsky.social has filled the city with bike-lanes & not only has she reduced pollution by 40% but she’s also been re-elected.” Trading car space for green space, bike space, kid space…trading pollution for people. Good trade.
