I finished Ace Combat 8 and now I don't know what to do with my life.

I feel like, when I get back into art soon, I need to get filthier with my concepts. Push facial expressions harder and character interactions bigger. Having reconnected with some more intimate friends is getting me back into appreciating the nerdery of sex again.

I'm glad I took this week off art. Having air conditioning problems and gotta send my car to the mechanic. Let's call this a catching up on life week.

Is anybody playing anything multiplayer that I could pick up in the steam sale to play with you? Alternately if you want to play something with me, the Destiny 2 complete collection is only $20 right now

FA is one of the few places online that - loads (underline this twice) - has a gallery format - has a new submissions page - does not allow AI - has real breathing humans I can contact - honestly I just find furry art joyful and inclusive

I'm up late watching Columbo to wind my week down.

When I feel better about it I may try this again, but this weekend I think I'll spend my free time catching up on gaming.

We should draw together more and swap tips

Now I'm gonna eat some food and play some Ace Combat 8. Might stream if my emotions can stay stable for an hour or two.

And before anybody accuses me, yes I am absolutely fishing for compliments on my art. I rarely get them, I think it's not out of the question to ask for them, and thank you to those who responded kindly.

Greatwuff (Commissions Open) @greatwuff.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I saved every nice post people said about my art and if I ever feel like this again, I'm going to go back to them in my saveds and look at them. Hell I should probably print them out and stick them to the back of my drawing tablet.

160

Greatwuff (Commissions Open) @greatwuff.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Thank you, everybody who replied. I feel a little better but maybe I should get off social media just for the rest of today until I feel okay again.

Greatwuff (Commissions Open) @greatwuff.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

No it's fine, it was open to everyone. I suppose I should specify that too? Hmm.

110

Greatwuff (Commissions Open) @greatwuff.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Does anybody wanna say something nice about my art to get me out of this funk? Cause I'm really in the dumps about this right now.

790

Greatwuff (Commissions Open) @greatwuff.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

It's off the table for now, just felt too depressed right now. Like I can't even give away my sexy art for free at the moment. I mean commissions are super slow right now but this was really depressing, honestly.

110

Greatwuff (Commissions Open) @greatwuff.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

But let me just straight up ask first, anybody out there want a free piece of art with any of my characters? I didn't think I had to specify that I meant sexy art, but I'm specifying now because I guess somehow that wasn't clear in the original post.

491

Greatwuff (Commissions Open) @greatwuff.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Well, what I'm getting from folks like @iridiumwolf.bsky.social and @frenorg.bsky.social is that I maybe just posted when most people were during their work hours. So maybe I'll do a free art post again in future but I'll have to figure out when would be a good time.

250

Greatwuff (Commissions Open) @greatwuff.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Honestly I really appreciate that, thank you.

010

Greatwuff (Commissions Open) @greatwuff.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

That's basically what I did, I put up four of my characters and asked people what they'd like to get as art with them and their character but I kept getting back very vanilla SFW ideas so I just gave up.

000

Greatwuff (Commissions Open) @greatwuff.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I don't think I did, sorry. I think I see it now in my notifcations but honestly I'm not motivated to work on it anymore. Feels like nobody wants my art even for free and it feels awful.

100

Greatwuff (Commissions Open) @greatwuff.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Sorry. Just felt really depressed that nobody else was throwing out sexy ideas....it was kind of upsetting honestly.

100

Greatwuff (Commissions Open) @greatwuff.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I can understand not getting commissions because it costs money but the idea that nobody wanted sexy art of my characters with theirs for free is really humbling. Feeling like I should just give up on the furry art thing in general.

540

Greatwuff (Commissions Open) @greatwuff.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Social media does nothing but make me feel bad about myself.

010

Greatwuff (Commissions Open) @greatwuff.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Deleted the free art post. I was trying to get to draw sexy stuff with other people's characters but nobody seemed attracted to my characters at all so I'm left feeling very down about my art now. Just not gonna offer this anymore in future I think.

230

Greatwuff (Commissions Open) @greatwuff.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Was kinda hoping for more sexy ideas when I offered the free art thing. Do I need to be hornier on main or something?

242

Greatwuff (Commissions Open) @greatwuff.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

No, no absolutely no worries, just informing. :)
