Monolake is consistently the best electronic produced over the past 30 years. @roberthenke.bsky.social also co-created Ableton, and has since made incredible plugins/modules/devices for it, like Granulator, which has factored into almost every piece of music or sound design i've made since ~2013.

Mort Garson’s ELECTRONIC HAIR PIECES has one of the best covers of all time. Also maybe one of the first “chiptune” albums; it’s all Moog versions of songs from Hair, and sounds like Gameboy music. The synthesis and arranging is incredible, top notch; drum programming alone is inspired.

PATHETIC FALLACY is Adam Egypt Mortimer’s best film by a country mile. It’s got a Panos Cosmatos look and feel, but a huge emotional heart that wrecked me. Kid Cudi is amazing as the lead and editing by @veradrew22.bsky.social gives it a dreamy unearthly feel. A great fucking movie. LOVED IT!

Far right billionaires want to replace journalists, writers, artists, and educators with "A.i." because THEY CAN CONTROL THE OUTPUTS. They want compliance. They want to limit what people are even capable of thinking. Consumer-facing "A.i." is a tool of fascists. Reject it for that reason alone.
