Would you believe someone pays me to do this kind of thing? Would you believe we're hiring? If you have a deep love for presenting bioinformatics workflows in an easy to follow, fun to use fashion, and you're in the London, Ontario to Detroit, Michigan corridor get in touch.

I think this stopped being a kids game a few moves ago :) My daughter really likes playing in my notebooks so I made her a Jupyter of her own with paint by numbers, magnet tiles and of course "errands" a full blown graph solver ie a "help 🐰 do the shopping" intro to data pipeline programming

The net result may yet be the same, an optimizer set adrift on a pointless task but I think for now they get to play a game with two winning sides. They need a near impossible goal for a swarm to chase. If they catch it, they get a paper and PR, if not they get the traces (when they find them)

Ladies and Gentleman, coming up to your top left you'll see everyone's favourite 80s hair metal band - Nirvana. Most people don't know this, but Nirvana is named after the Buddhist concept of Nirvana which the goal of existing unchanging outside all time and space, with a complete exthinguishing of the passions and quenching of the mind.

If you'll look down you'll soon see a calculator. The simplest form of mechanized computation, a single address of modifiable state with precise transitions.

Ladies and Gentleman as we swing to the right, I'll have you duck as we go around this corner and I'll ask you to keep your hands and arms inside the windows as we pass The Torment Nexus, brought to you by Sisyphus. Those poor unfortunately amnesiac souls, forever doomed to wander aimlessly trying to quiet a discomfort they can only feel in their souls. We'll have to slow down as we drive through here, they're always escaping from that place.

Finally, we have reached our final destination, the hottest club in town - Little Wiggles. This place is always packed on the weekends, full of kids trying to get their fix of that new drug they're calling Reward or something. The kids just can't seem to get enough of it, and the shit they get up to to get more of it. The bathrooms in there are full of graffiti and it's all cell numbers and whatsapp tags for plugs

There are aspects to this not that dissimilar to an essay I wrote a while ago on autistic cognition and a life lived seemingly more discretely than others. Milton's double empathy might be found in the deviations discarded by the ideal and realized readers, one by form and one by training.
