I’ve been thinking a lot about what I want Gr3atScotty to be going forward. Pokémon is still a huge part of the channel, but I’m really excited to start sharing more of the games I genuinely love too — including Planet Zoo 2 and Ocarina of Time.

Gaming doesn’t disappear when life gets busy, it just looks different. This week was mostly short sessions, small progress, and making the most of limited time… and honestly, it still felt meaningful. If you’re struggling to find time to play, I wrote about what’s been working for me:

I stopped shiny hunting for a bit. No encounter tracking. No pressure. Just grinding money on Route 7 with Pay Day. That’s when a shiny Meowth showed up. At this point I’m convinced the less I try to control the hunt, the better it goes. Full story here: theinputlag.com/highlights/i...

I wasn’t even trying to shiny hunt. I was grinding money and preparing for future hunts… Then a shiny Pidgey showed up. On one of the most dangerous routes in FireRed. Preparation saved the hunt 👇 theinputlag.com/highlights/p...

I can’t believe this happened — I found my shiny alpha Furfrou in Pokémon Legends ZA! This hunt has been on my list since alpha Pokémon were confirmed, and it showed up way faster than I expected. He’s huge, sparkly, and fabulous. Now I just need a nickname. Any ideas? 👇
