Thinking about the death of AEW's Pac. His finisher, The Black Arrow, is probably one of the top 5 finishers in the history of professional wrestling. Purely because I honestly don't think anybody else would be able to consistently do it and make it look as good as he did.

I keep going back and forth on if Arroyo should be traded. On the one hand, the defense might be terrible and boy do the Mariners not need any more of that. On the other hand, if he's a 130wRC+ bat immediately, then boy that sure makes it easier to ignore the defense.

It's also ignorance of how player value works. That contract doesn't pay him like a MVP level player. It pays him, at it's most expensive, like 4.5 win player. And well, unfortunately that may be what his actual talent level is. Though I'm a year away from being confident on that.

Yeah free agency is looking pretty weak this year. Ultimately, most of the improvement is going to come from health and stars playing like stars. And then improvement from Young/Colt/Anderson/Montes secondary.
