it is supposedly Hobbit Day? I did not know this when I wrote this poem about one of my partner's feet:

about his
hobbit feet
tho hairless,
the toes fan out
like scuba flippers
and a bulbous big toe
separated by a gulf that
reminds me we're primates
he thinks "I miss your feet" is
just me teasing but, much like the
smell of home, no one else has those feet

I wrote a silly sonnet about a real date my friend went on last summer

Spaghetti Princess
A sonnet (May 27, 2026)
I could hardly believe my luck that day,
to be out with a goddess so heady.
She picked, of all spots, spageddy eddy's,
where I celebrated my 10th birthday.
My sultry queen arrived to our soiree
in a sundress and tote bag so pretty,
then stunned again, stating "plain spaghetti",
the most basic selection of entree.
Mid meal the joyous date took a sharp turn,
confusing me, the staff and diners too.
My divine creature disappeared, unheard,
unseen, in the minute I was in the loo.
And then I spotted the thing most absurd:
My queen left with her spaghetti plate too.

Jodorowsky's 2 of Cups tarot card. It is mirror image through the centre, so left and right are virtually the same. The 2 Cups are on either side of something that looks like a vase holding 2 dragons and a flower in the middle. The base of the vase is being held by two angels, the one on the left looks a little more rugged or masculine than the angel on the right.

Some good stuff lately. Palm Springs and DEBS absolute gems! Midsommar has incredible visuals and costuming, but my least favourite story of Aster's films. Strange Days is a neat concept and stylish as FUCK, but the commentary is way too heavy handed. #letterboxdfriday #lastfourwatched

I havent been watching many movies lately. I liked *a lot* about Love Lies Bleeding, but the story was just mid. Vanessa 5000 is incredible, watch it! Friendship is also incredible, but maybe not for everyone. So many laughs! And I dont know what to make of Santa Sangre
