Did Colorado State make a defensive coordinator change during game against Oregon State? Here's what we do and don't know right now as Tyson Summers appears to no longer be on the sidelines www.coloradoan.com/story/sports...

Did Jim Mora, CSU make an in-game change at defensive coordinator?
Defensive coordinator Tyson Summers can't be seen on CSU's sideline during the game against Oregon State. Here's what we know.

I assume without looking that my Lions managed this in the 90s. Some awful combination of Andre Ware, Rodney Peete, and Erik Kramer.

At this point I blame IT/Comms for this. You need to have send permissions on the big lists. Ah well.

Happy 72nd to Jeffrey Combs! Got to see him at the Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville for a retrospective a few years ago. Funny, funny guy, and clearly just happy to be around fans. He may have been slightly weirded out that everyone knew who the Bands were :).

I have questions about listing Kalamazoo/GR/Battle Creek as Michigan State territory. That overlooks Western, UofM, Grand Valley, *and* Notre Dame. Once you're south of I-94 it's all Irish.

If pedestrians or bicyclists wearing headphones is an issue then drivers using their car audio systems is also an issue. Where's the PSA telling people to drive with sound off and windows down so they are more aware of what's happening around them?

Binghamton should pursue Scranton extension, but Lackawanna Cutoff is ~a decade away. In the meantime, for a couple hundred million, it could extend a few Metro North Port Jervis Line trips within a couple years. Here's a mock schedule based on current MN trips. Much more below👇

Hadn't expected one of the ICA's own commissions to take swings against the idea codes of conduct today. mapdesign.icaci.org/2026/07/nati... The ICA, of course, has such a code: icaci.org/files/docume...
Screenshot of blog post, reading: But most are asserting those opinions purely based on the fact they “don’t like Al” (or similar),and if they can't think of anything about the technology to moan about then they just don't like our ‘tone’. That's not really how science evolves. But since academic publishing is largely irrelevant any more, and codes of conduct make conferences an impossible forum for sensible debate, then blogs and social media is what we're left with.Screenshot from blog post, reading: But some already have us down as Al promoters so it's largely pointless. They're going to come to a conference presentation armed for a public take-down (except they won't be able to do that due to the codes of conduct they were probably involved in writing in the first place).

Arthur C. Clarke had a throwaway gag in 2061 about the independent "Malvinians" being an exasperating problem for both the UK and Argentina which is a very Clarke joke to make.
