Summer 2022 I joined this marvelous fandom. It isn’t dead. A series might end, but fandom lives on. It’s in the art, fics and friendship that is made through it. Some might steer away, but there is a bit of it still there. Me? I’m a lifer. Thank you to all the talented folks who keep creating. 🌈🏴‍☠️❤️🥹

My mom’s ac is out. We had to get her a window unit until we can afford someone to look at it. She has no money. We have no money. A 69 year old woman who just fought through cancer treatment should have an ac in 100+ temps in Texas. This week has been brutal.

I can’t remember the last time I saw a movie in a packed theater. It made me so happy hearing everyone enjoying it ❤️❤️ My toon loving heart is glowing.

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

This new Ebenezer movie is just A Christmas Carol. Right!? It makes it look like a prequel. But it doesn’t appear to be by the trailer or the description. It’s just another adaptation of the book. Seriously, why? Do we need another? Plus, The Muppets and Michael Caine did it best.

I've had to unfriend a few fans lately, all for the same reason. They made ridiculing, unkind, and in some cases outright cruel comments about pictures I posted of young women cosplaying Jessica.
More than a person, Jessica is a state of mind. To play Jessica, you need self -confidence, a sense of humor, and a Jessican -attitude-. There is no such thing as a Jessica cosplayer being too short, too flat chested, too heavy, too thin, too unattractive, too black, too Asian, or even too male!!! All Jessica, any Jessica, every Jessica is good Jessica.
I'm not giving any warnings or second chances. A single disparaging comment on a Jessica cosplayer, and I'm throwing you out of the rainbow colored Toontown Tent.

I was reading old fics of mine from yrs ago. I remember writing this and I feel like I could absolutely improve on it. But it makes me proud. Like oh, “I am a writer.” Wish I could motivate myself to write again. I was told my writing was bad too many times & I woke up one day believing it.

It is funny the things that go through your head as you are impatiently waiting on something. Suddenly the memory of what the waitress was wearing in the café where you had breakfast seems fascinating. The color of the man's socks next to you remind you of the carpet in your grandmother's den or the color of your most hated vegetable, peas. You try to scan your mind for something a bit more meaningful, but all that comes to mind is the lines from the comic strip you had read that morning. Charlie Brown's pathetic face looking out at you, "Sometimes I lie awake at night and I ask, 'Why me?' And the voice says, 'Nothing personal your name just happened to come up. "" I certainly can relate to Chuck right about now.
