I noticed the resurgence of the #spidersona trend and some extremely cool designs, so I thought I'd re-share my own: la 𝒯𝒶𝓇ℯ𝓃𝓉𝓊𝓁ℯ, lurking in the streets of Montpellier! 🤣 I wanted it to be a spider that Robert Smith could be talking about in the song "Lullaby" lmao

My take on the spidersona trend, where you design your own version of Spider-man/woman. My version is La Tarentule (French for tarentula) and my drawing shows the character on top of a tramway pole.
Costume design is simple: a mask, a spandex leotard that covers the hands but leaves the fingers exposed, slim-fit jeans, and bare feet. Black and blue, with large yellow eyes. The mask’s design is inspired by black metal face paint. The hair sticks out from the top of the mask and resembles the legs of a mygalomorph spider. The bare skin of the character appears to be very pale.

Pfff.

I've had to unfriend a few fans lately, all for the same reason. They made ridiculing, unkind, and in some cases outright cruel comments about pictures I posted of young women cosplaying Jessica.
More than a person, Jessica is a state of mind. To play Jessica, you need self -confidence, a sense of humor, and a Jessican -attitude-. There is no such thing as a Jessica cosplayer being too short, too flat chested, too heavy, too thin, too unattractive, too black, too Asian, or even too male!!! All Jessica, any Jessica, every Jessica is good Jessica.
I'm not giving any warnings or second chances. A single disparaging comment on a Jessica cosplayer, and I'm throwing you out of the rainbow colored Toontown Tent.

Marvel, why do you think people care about a secret cousin? As there are only a few things you can do with him and that's make him a villain, reveal he isn't actually Peter's cousin or add him to the supporting cast, but with how bad his cast had faded away it would happen the same with Cormac
