Speaking as a golfer that sees the Celtic board and Desmond in particular as toxic I think the protest was brilliant. I don't have a great view of professional golf these days either. Another long story!

I feel obliged to post this every year until the BBC and the rest of the British media accurately report on this matter... - drug related deaths are recorded quite differently in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Scotland, with many not being recorded as such in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 England. - drugs policy is a 🇬🇧 Westminster power.

As a Celtic Grandad in his 70s I cannot understand why Martin O'Neil is putting himself through the nightmare of DD's board room incompetence. I think it's all really sad, he should go back to family life, coffees, gardening, golf and drinking nice wine.

We were in Glasgow City Centre yesterday evening. No one tried to stab us. No one tried to rob us. No one tried to sell us drugs. We saw no violence or disorder. Although we did pass a woman at a bus stop who tutted and complained her bus was late. We feel awful for letting BBC Scotland down.

A message for the quisling BBC Scotland, artists in both propaganda by omission and by exception.

I look forward to the BBC doing a programme about Manchester, as they did with Glasgow. Here are some facts they can use.
Overall Crime Rate:
Manchester's Crime Rate: 143 crimes per 1k
residents (2025 Home Office data). The violent crime rate is 52 per 1k residents.
Glasgow's Crime Rate: 85 crimes per 1k
residents (2025-26 Scottish Government data). The violent crime rate is 20 per 1k residents (GCC).
CONCLUSION: Manchester's crime rate is 68% higher and its violent crime is 62% higher than Glasgow's.
Public perception data shows Manchester with a "High" crime index (64.72) and Glasgow with a "Moderate" index (51.24). Compared to Glasgow, more locals in Manchester feel crime is increasing.
