Same! I feel like there’s a pretty fine line for how many can be included in a fantasy setting before it gets weird. (Granted, I’ve played gunslingers multiple times but I just really like cowboy aesthetics 😭)

I bring a gift from a faraway land!” Panel 2: he continues, “a ‘strawberry margarita.’” Genghis takes a delicate yet generous sip. Panel 3: Genghis and his advisor exchange smiles. May I remind everyone that there is currently NO cure for rabies. May I also remind everyone there is absolutely NO scientific proof connecting ANY vaccine that we produce today with autism. This is true regarding vaccination in both humans AND in dogs. Vaccinate your pets please.

Worries about vaccination rates in dogs
As rabies seems to be spreading more in wildlife, veterinarians are especially worried about vaccine hesitancy spreading among pet owners, a dangerous trend that could lead to more dogs - and their owners
- becoming infected. A 2023 study published in the journal Vaccine found in nationally representative
sample of Americans that nearly 40% believed canine vaccines were unsafe and 37% believed that vaccines could lead their dogs to develop cognitive issues, such as autism.

Built another model kit last night and @purrichi.bsky.social decided that posing it to dab was the best way to test the articulation. I’m honestly fairly impressed.

My first and only kit I worked on all by myself was a master grade Acguy kit my dad got me for my 12th? birthday. It took at least a full summer for me to put together. I had pretty awful tools (a pair of wire cutters and the world’s worst file), not to mention it was a pretty intense kit.

Golemkind | Talos 👒🌻 @golemkind.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

My dad had told me years ago that wire cutters and precision cutters were basically the same thing and they are ABSOLUTELY not. The precision cutter was smooth as butter. Need to decide what to build next, though it should probably be another high grade kit.

Had so much fun putting together this Bearguy kit. It’s my first one in fifteen years, and the first one I bought proper cutting tools for (unfortunately after I constructed the head). I’ve decided that he is part of Miku’s band. I might need to acquire more band members for them.

A green, high grade petit bearguy model stands with his guitar on a yellow cutting mat. Behind him is a pink set of Sanrio plastic drawers.

Two figures standing side by side. The left side is a nendoroid Hatsune Miku, posed to be playing a keyboard. The same bearguy model kit from the previous image is posed playing the guitar, standing almost the same height. They’re in a band.

A crescent Moon seen during the day, arcing from upper left to lower right of the frame. At lower centre is the full disk of Jupiter; the small dots to its upper left and lower right and Io and Ganymede, respectively.

The most absolutely massive flex from the state fair exhibit. This quilt is made of 40 years of prize ribbons from various categories at the New Mexico State Fair won by Carol St. Clair Johnson. She also won a prize for this quilt.

satin ribbons

After unexpectedly winning her first blue ribbon for a sewn cape in 1981, Carol St. Clair Johnson developed an enduring love for the New Mexico State Fair. The quilt Fair New Mexico-41 Fair Years incorporates more than six hundred of the ribbons she won at the fair every subsequent year except 2020 (when the fair was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic). Johnson earned ribbons for needlework, knitting, crochet, pies, cookies, cakes, canning, jewelry, flowers, vegetables, and potted plants. The title of the quilt is a reference to the state song, and the design places the state's Zia sun symbol at the center. The quilt earned Johnson yet another ribbon: Best in Category (miscellaneous quilt) at the 2023 New Mexico State Fair.

It's not worth the time, the water, the energy consumption--it's just regurgitating and bastardizing things that people already made. People who cared to make the thing that is being plagiarized. Don't even get me started on the whole notion of consciousness for these models. It's all BS.

Every time I try to see anyone market something made by AI to me all I can think is "If you didn't take the time to learn the skills to make this thing yourself, why the hell should I spend my precious time on Earth paying attention to it?"
