Tired of switching between your editor and observability tools just to check your app performance while it’s running? GoLand shows you live performance charts for CPU and memory usage in real time directly in the IDE. You’ll find the charts in the “Go Optimization” tool window. #GoLandTip

In addition, GoLand lets you enable go fix as a pre-commit check. Before each commit, the IDE runs the official Go modernizers and automatically applies any available updates. This helps teams keep the codebase aligned with the latest Go recommendations as new modernizers become available.

`go fix` works in GoLand, displaying modernization opportunities as inspections right in the editor. This includes all modernizers from 1.27, like generic iterator improvements, safer unsafe pointer arithmetic, improved atomic types, embedded composite literals, and slice modernization. #GoLandTip

Did you know you can run escape analysis straight from your IDE? Go to the “Go Optimization” window, choose “Escape analysis”, pick a scope, and then just click to run it. The tool lets you analyze a single file or the whole package and choose which message types you want to see. #GoLandTip
