I've been dipping into Mario Kart World's free roam mode off-and-on all year, and I am genuinely flummoxed that I'm still missing nearly 40 of the Peach Medallions. I've found all of the Panels & all but 12 of the P-Switches, but so many of those blasted medallions continue to elude me!

I'm apparently more open to suggestion than I previously thought, because almost immediately after I saw this post last night, I dug out my 3DS for the first time in nearly 2 years and started playing a new file of Picross 3D: Round 2 for 3 hours. A perfect puzzle game.

My incredibly mild Zelda OoT takes: 1) Literally any change to the art style was always going to be an adjustment, and I probably won't know how I fully feel about it until I play it 2) No remake is a replacement, I'll still replay the original (and the 3DS remake) even if the new remake is perfect

Entirely possible recency bias is at work here, but I think Path of Radiance is rapidly becoming my favorite Fire Emblem? Like, sure, there are some nits to pick here (it's a bit easy, maps/mechanics seem to strongly favor mounted units, most skills don't seem very useful), but I'm having a blast!

I've been working on this for over a year: I'm remaking all of Ocarina of Time's prerenders in 3D, trying to match the N64 style rather than the 3DS one. The provisional name is OoT unJPEG. It will be distributed as both a romhack that runs on real N64 hardware and a mod for Zelda 64 Recompiled.

I'm making steady progress on Perfects in Rhythm Heaven Groove, but anytime Disc Dog comes up without any kind of audio cue or tempo for me to key in on (be it in a Remix or Disc Dog 2), I'm utterly helpless.
