It makes me so fucking happy when I find the perfect gift for someone or a great deal on something. One of our local friends asked me to keep an eye out for drums for them, and the neighborhood buy nothing group has given me a full electronic drum kit that's almost entirely functional

Horse experience.

Four sculpted horses on the other end of the bench from the previous post. Two of them are epoxy clay water horses (one big and snarling, one smaller and more elegant). One is a needlefelted representation of the Lascaux Cave horse painting, leaning on its stand at a jaunty angle. One is a needlefelted model of an eohippus (the ancestor of modern horses).

As a reward for finishing my game, I finally strung our free mountain dulcimer, with lots of swearing and realizing I'd ordered the wrong strings and juryrigging a solution I'm not sure if it's going to stay in tune, but right now, it's in tune and sounds pretty great for a free instrument
