One of the best things indie devs can do to improve their craft is to cultivate a broad variety of interests. If you can be conversant in graphics, writing, animation, music, sound design, etc then you'll be way better-equipped to make cohesive games, and you'll be MUCH better at collaborative work.

Also: if you're a project producer who genuinely doesn't have the money to pay folks—the solution isn't to use ""generative"" plagiarism software. Folks *will* be open to working with you, even pro bono, if you're organized, transparent about project expectations/workflow/etc, and safety-minded.

They called your husband’s disappearance a “Robbery gone wrong” or even a “Lover’s Quarrel”. After all, how else should a priceless vintage lifesized porcelain doll and a strong thirty year old man suddenly go missing overnight with no other leads?

But you knew him. He was passive, quiet, loyal, and would never leave nor go down without a fight. It didn’t matter to the authorities, though.

After so long, you've found the doll though. She washed up on shore in some swampy national park ten minutes south of your house after ten years of absence.

Honestly, once you took to cleaning her, you expected her to be filthier and in further disrepair.

But then she speaks, a voice so eerily familiar, and asks you if you locked the door.

It doesn’t matter your answer.

Something knocks at your front door. It speaks to you in a singsongy voice you once thought to be your husband’s.

It wants to marry you. It wants to take you away. It wants you to be its bride.
