Book #28 (Audiobook): Well I couldn't not, after so enjoying the first. This is a fantastic follow up. So so funny, yet so so gripping. The twist in the post script was *chef's kiss*. Loving the free Audiobooks from my local library via BorrowBox! #BookSky

I only discovered the convention a couple years ago. ~6 years into teaching, after a Maths degree, maths and further maths a level and everything below, all way after 1925!

One time my wife added them to enchiladas to try and get more good stuff into the kids. Eldest found one and freaked out. To this day whenever we have anything with a sauce he'll ask if there are lentils in it! He did it to a lasagne just this week -_-

I've just started wearing my smart watch again after many months of not and I've remembered that I hate how it says I've had excellent sleep when I really haven't. This morning even the watch is saying I had a bad night. Just under 8 hours in bed, just over 5 actually asleep 🫩🫩🫩

Before moving, my eldest's class had a group, it was just used for reminding each other of events and then arranging Christmas and end of year teacher gifts haha. I'd be happy with my classes having groups like that ;)

Decided to read an Austen next. Trying to decide which of the 3 I've not read yet to do so I looked up some rankings. Both myself and my wife were appalled to see Northanger Abbey at the bottom of several people's lists!? NA is hilarious, possibly my favourite so far. #BookSky

So I got told off by a year 8 in #MathsToday. I was saluting General Form, as you must always do whenever he's mentioned, without explaining myself, as ever, and when I was later circulating she told me I was doing the US salute rather than the British one!? Just looked it up and she's right 😂

Book #26 (audiobook): I don't go for recent fiction usually, but this was recommended me and I love Bob Mortimer so I gave it a go. So glad I did. Too funny 😁 fairly gripping story to boot. Audiobook read by the man himself and Sally Phillips was sublime #BookSky

DrFrost is far superior to... that company IMHO. I spoke to him at a MathConf the other month and when I said the only thing it's missing is automated homeworks, he said that it was in the pipeline!

Discovered I was a fair bit ahead of the other yr12 mechanics teacher so #MathsToday I used the "Floppy Hair" problem from Underground Maths to do some deeper differentiation practice. Really good level of challenge for the class :D
