L’état, c’est moi… Not ‘US envoy’, but ‘representative of the man who would be king’. Which is bitingly appropriate; Kushner has no official place in the US government, few merits of his own and is only of use as a minor representative of his father-in-law’s syndicracy.
A screenshot of a BBC News headline describing Jared Kushner as a representative of Trump, rather than the US. The full text reads: ‘Trump envoy Kushner meets Netanyahu after Hamas talks on peace plan’.

Well, it was a no-planning effort, it was a bugger to keep the image still, but I got some decent pictures of the eclipse. Would have been better with a cardboard box and light isolation, but handheld telescope plus sheet of paper works well enough!
A sheet of A4 paper is taped to a folder, which is placed on the ground resting against a bag. On the paper is projected an image of the 95% eclipsed Sun, which is being produced by holding an old-style handheld telescope at the Sun. As paper doesn’t have retinas to burn, this is a preferable method of eclipse watching.

We need more places to openly take stands like Thomas House.
A poster with a no-AI logo, a logo for "Thomas House" in Dublin city, with the tagline "Passion not Fashion". The post has the following written as text:

So for the future (literally) we're not accepting AI posters or flyers for the pub.

We're right next to Ireland's biggest Art College, lads. It's not a good look.

We understand bands can be skint, but relying on some earth killing app from some paedo island billionaire is not the way. We got by without it and we'll get by again.

If you're stuck we'll help.
Yes it has been used here before but consider this the start of the end of it.

Thanks, Humans.

Abelard thinks that the historic setting of Prague Castle would make the perfect location for Donald Trump to meet Vladimir Putin. ‘Just think of the gravity that these ancient stones could lend to proceedings!’ I think he might not want to say that too loudly, but he has a point.
A small plush Saint Bernard sits on the monument in the gardens of Prague Castle; behind the monument, a wall rises up many metres to a series of windows, one of which is world famous for ad hoc use as an exit.

Seen in St Paul’s Churchyard. No argument with the point in question - but dear God, the scansion… That faint vibration you feel might be the Central Line; it might also be the remnants of John Donne rotating at generator speed.
