Today marks one year of me writing fanfic! One year since I opened that first blank doc and started writing words on the page to make my ideas real :) And I'm so very happy that I started, and even happier that there are so many lovely people I've met through fic. Here's to another year, cheers!

Interrupting the daily H/C Week posts to present: My first piece for the #jayvikbb2025 project!!! I had such a pleasure of working with @isopawd.bsky.social to make this piece for his cat Viktor fic! (linked in the replies) Tysm to @jayvikbigbang.bsky.social for hosting!! #fanart #arcane #viktor

Viktor Arcane has been transformed into a fluffy brown tabby cat, similar in appearance to that of an oriental longhair. He's staring into their lab mirror in shock at what's happened to him!

"He lamented for a moment that the realignment didn’t ease any of his pain as he slowly made his way to the mirror Jayce had insisted upon putting in the lab. He silently thanked his partner for his vanity before realizing he was looking at a cat. He shifted from side to side for a moment, eyes wide as he slowly processed what the hexcore had turned him into. He was turned into a cat. This could not be happening."

I'm sharing my fic, written for the @jayvikbigbang.bsky.social! I worked with @jupyt3r.bsky.social, who drew a stunning piece of art! And my beta was none other than @neutralchaotic.bsky.social! archiveofourown.org/works/711894... In which Viktor is a pianist, and Jayce asks him for lessons ~

It's so frustrating, especially with the silly hc's and dynamics! That's all they are.. headcanons... so why can't we just have fun with them 🥹

@jayvikficweek.bsky.social Thanks for running such a lovely week! I loved being able to gush about my favorite fics so much, especially the lesser known ones! The atmosphere all week has been incredible, creators supporting their favorite creators and getting love right back at them ❤️ #jayvikficweek

In my bookmark notes, I wrote: "He doesn’t want to disturb this moment, a pure and naked intimacy all its own." this fic feels like one too :') if anyone is looking for a comfort read, this is the one for you

Sharing a post canon fic that makes my heart happy and comforted without fail. Everything is beautiful & nothing hurts, the boys listen to rain together. I love how soft and impactful this fic is in just 1k words, like a blanket for the soul. archiveofourown.org/works/64263427 #jayvikficweek

- In the distant recesses of his mind, he swore he heard the Hexcore exclaim "Yipee!". - There isn’t much I can prescribe, except maybe vitamins and some 100% effective medication for his lung condition to undoom him from the narrative. Our sickly Victorian twink has suffered enough. (AMEN yasss!)

I literally cannot choose my favorite line so here are all my favs: - Lady Gaga was calling, and who was Viktor to deny? - "Whoa," Viktor whispered in awe. "I've never felt more seduced in my life." "Viktor's in danger!" Jayce screamed as he bolted bisexually to the lab. (this man bolts BISEXUALLY)

The Arcane sings along to Lady Gaga when we're not looking ~ Check out this hilarious crack fic in which the hexcore tries to seduce Viktor, written by @screechinghamster.bsky.social! So indulgently crack-y and funny, I love it! archiveofourown.org/works/63844855

I've shipped jayvik since s1. I have a lot of comfort fics in other fandoms, but this fic is the closest I have for a comfort fic in arcane. I've read it >5 times. If I need to cheer myself up after a bad day, I read this fic. I love it so damn much. archiveofourown.org/works/40617816

A concept I rarely find in Jayvik? QPR interpretations of them!! Please check out this incredibly sweet qpr jayvik fic that melted my heart. It has cuddling & snuggling, flower language, all the fluff you could want! I'd love to see this fic get some more love <3 archiveofourown.org/works/66542581

Favorite line: “I wish the world was gentler,” Viktor has said to him in the quiet safety of their own bed one night. Jayce remembered how Viktor’s voice shook, as if admitting that alone took everything he had. I wish so too 🥹❤️I'm so glad Viktor has Jayce to provide him some gentleness

Here's an excellent fic by @screechinghamster.bsky.social ! So good, so soft, they are so in love. I love how the fic now only explores Jayce taking care of Viktor, but also Jayce's thought process through it all. A very excellent respite from the world in fic form archiveofourown.org/works/62123743
